Worked with the company's founding team and early investors to develop the company's strategic plan and initial financing. Developed the company's clinical, regulatory, reimbursement & market strategy for successful FDA 510(k) and CE clearances and new CPT coding. Raised the company's Series A financing from venture capital and secured over $4M of additional funding from the National Institutes of Health. Oversee development, clinical, and regulatory activities.

Co-founded and led the formation of company. Developed financing strategy for multi-million dollar non-dilutive investment for a novel colon cancer screening test. Oversaw successful product development that was under budget and on time including a 100-patient clinical trial at the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. Recruited management team in product development and regulatory affairs that led successful CE marking of the optical screening product in Europe and ISO13485 certification. Negotiated successful sale of a significant portion of the company to a global medical device company.

Developed market positioning strategy for respiratory product in intensive care application and recruited a prominent medical advisory board and clinical trial sites.
