Held a number of public policy, product management, communications and public affairs leadership positions within Abbott's pharmaceutical (now AbbVie) and nutrition businesses and the company's corporate office. Highlights include:
-- Led public affairs for Abbott Nutrition International.
-- Oversaw public affairs strategy and programming for Abbott’s major pharmaceutical products outside the United States.
-- Led communications for Abbott's $3.7 billion acquisition of Kos.
-- Served as the CEO’s speechwriter.
-- Developed and executed a multi-stakeholder strategy that saved Abbott’s $300 million renal business from a government effort to restrict patients’ access to the therapy.
-- Designed and implemented a new marketing strategy for Abbott’s renal business.
