-- Led communications for Abbott's $3.7 billion acquisition of Kos.

-- Developed and executed a multi-stakeholder strategy that saved Abbott’s $300 million renal business from a government effort to restrict patients’ access to the therapy.
-- Designed and implemented a new marketing strategy for Abbott’s renal business.

Served as the senator’s education and transportation policy expert. Wrote tax incentive legislation to spur $20 billion of school repairs. Created a $750 million program to help welfare recipients commute to suburban jobs. Negotiated agreements to benefit Illinois companies and interests, including one that saved 300 jobs at an Amtrak reservation center in Chicago. Created and led coalitions of lawmakers and interest groups. Spoke to national conferences.
