Mr. Isinak is a seasoned alternative investment expert with over 18 years of international experience. Mr. Isinak started his career in the heart of Silicon Valley during the first dotcom boom where he worked with global 1000 companies such as Siemens, VISA, Allianz Insurance, Cisco Systems and Providian Bank based in San Francisco, Toronto, Seattle, New York, Hamburg, Munich, Istanbul and Los Angeles.
Mr. Isinak eventually started a boutique consulting practice based out of Los Angeles called Icon Angels. His firm specialized in helping guide seed, early and expansion stage businesses navigate the various due diligence, operational, financial and technical requirements of identifying organic and inorganic growth capital from across North America and Europe. Mr. Isinak was asked to join a new private equity firm as a General Partner and Chief Operating Office in 2008. Based out of Istanbul, he was able to apply his technology investment skills in a dynamic new emerging market.
Mr. Isinak is currently the President of Keiretsu Forum’s Central Canada region, the world’s largest angel investment network with over 1500 investing members in 39 cities on three continents. The global network specializes in syndication of deals on a global platform.
Mr. Isinak received his MBA in Finance from the University of San Francisco, McLaren School of Business in 1998 and also holds a double major in Economics & Political Science from the University of Western Ontario (1994). Mr. Isinak lives in both Toronto and in Istanbul. He speaks English, Turkish and French.
