Alexis Roy serves as Consul and Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada in Chicago. Alexis joined the Consulate in August 2013 bringing with him extensive experience from the clean technologies practice, his main focus since joining the Trade Commissioner Service in 2009.
As a part of the Trade section of the Consulate General, he manages the Investment and Innovation team and is responsible for providing support to Canadian starts-up and cross-border investors from Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
Previous to these experiences Alexis served as Senior Commerce Officer at the Department of Canadian Heritage and worked as a consultant at the OECD in Paris. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in Sociology from the University of Ottawa.
